Former PrideFC fighter Ryo Chonan has recently signed with the UFC and he will be putting in some heavy competition in the Middleweight level. He is most remembered for defeating the current UFC Middleweight champion Anderson Silva with a flying scissor-lock takedown, followed quickly by a heel-hook submission.
This is great news for the UFC as they are suffering from a short supply of top contenders at the 185-pound level.
