UFC president Dana White announced that Tito Ortiz will in fact be the next UFC Hall of Fame inductee. He will go into the hall of fame at the UFC Fan Expo in July 2012, just before he faces Forrest Griffin for a third time at UFC 148 on July 7.
“He’s definitely a part of the history of the sport,” stated White. Ortiz has told the media and his fans that the fight with Griffin will be his last and he will retire after the fight.
