DREAM is preparing their second mixed martial arts event,
which is scheduled to take place on April 29th at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan.
The Japanese organization held their first event not too long ago with over
19,000 people in attendance.
DREAM 2 will host the opening round of the promotion’s middleweight Grand Prix
to determine the first middleweight champion. The fight card for this upcoming event is not yet complete, but we have
discovered three middleweight bouts and one lightweight fight that seems to
be official. Here is how the card is
taking shape:
Middleweight Fights:
- Kazushi Sakuraba vs. Andrews Nakahara
- Denis Kang vs. Gegard Mousasi
- Kiyoshi Tamura vs. Masakatsu Funaki
Lightweight Fight:
- Shinya Aoki vs. Gesias "JZ" Calvancanti
winner will be given DREAM’s first middleweight belt at DREAM 6. We’ll keep everyone posted on the complete
