K-1 World GP 2008 in Hawaii occurred this past weekend at the Stan Sheriff center in Honolulu, Hawaii. The show drew 8,807 attendees and thousands more were able to watch the live show as it was aired across Japan on the Fuji television network and in South Korea on the CJ Media network.
The event held a fifth and final elimination tournament for the K-1 World GP 2008, which consisted of an 8-man elimination tournament. The tournament winner acquired a spot at the K-1 World GP Final 16, which is scheduled to take place in Seoul, Korea on September 27th, 2008.
