WEC 35 Salaries: Paydays And Bonuses

The WEC 35 event aired this past Sunday night at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.  The Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) released the official salaries for each of the fighters that participated including both main event and preliminary event fight cards.

The total payroll of the WEC 35 event came out to be $230,000 USD and Carlos Condit earned the highest paycheck with $44,000 USD ($22,000 for fighting, $22,000 for winning the bout).

Main Fight Card Results:

  • Carlos Condit: $44,000 (includes $22,000 win bonus) defeated Hiromitsu Miura: $5,000
  • Steve Cantwell: $10,000 ($5,000 win bonus) defeated Brian Stann: $11,000
  • Jamie Varner: $30,000 ($15,000 win bonus) defeated Marcus Hicks: $16,000
  • Brian Bowles: $8,000 ($4,000 win bonus) defeated Damacio Page: $6,000
  • Josh Grispi: $8,000 ($4,000 win bonus) defeated Micah Miller: $5,000

Preliminary Fight Card Results:

  • Brock Larson: $30,000 ($15,000 win bonus) defeated Carlo Prater: $7,000
  • Blas Avena: $12,000 ($6,000 win bonus) defeated Dave Terrel: $3,000
  • Shane Roller: $12,00O ($6,000 win bonus) defeated Todd Moore: $4000
  • Mike Budnik: $6,000 ($3,000 win bonus) defeated Greg McIntyre: $2,000
  • Scott Jorgensen: $6,000 ($3,000 win bonus) defeated Kenji Osawa: $5,000
