After fighting at the playboy mansion for Strikeforce, the former UFC veteran Bill “The Butcher” Mahood, was tested immediately after the event. According to the California State Athletic Commission (CSAC), Mahood tested positive for a steroid by the name of Drostanolone.
Drostanolone retains water in your body, which gives your muscles a more ripped and muscular appearance. After testing positive for this steroid, the Butcher was issued a 1 year suspension along with a $2500 USD fine. The suspension will keep him away from any mixed martial arts organization until September of 2008.
