There were several injuries during the UFC 81-Breaking Point event and the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) released the list of medical suspensions:
- Tim Sylvia was suspended until March 3rd, 2008 with no contact until
February 24th, 2008. - Frank Mir was suspended until March 3rd 2008 with no contact until
February 24th, 2008 due to a scalp laceration. - David Heath was suspended until August 1st, 2008 as he suffered a nasal fracture. No contact
until March 19th, 2008. - Kyle Bradley was suspended until March 19th, 2008 with no contact
until March 2nd, 2008 due to a facial laceration. - Keita Nakamura was suspended until March 19th, 2008 with no contact
until March 2nd, 2008. - Marvin Eastman was suspended until March 2nd with no contact
until February 24th due to a laceration on his right upper-eyelid.
