Hector Lombard is still trying to acquire his visa to fight at UFC 78-Validation. He has been denied twice by the U.S. embassy, but continues to fight his way into the octagon.
His American representatives are hoping to get him a P1 visa, which is a special visa allowing him to participate in an event like the UFC. P1 visas are specifically for athletes who are trying to compete in any field of sports that is recognized on an international level.
Lombard (11-2-1) is expected to fight another Judo specialist, Karo Parisyan (17-4-0) at UFC 78-Validation. The fight will occur at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
Lombard’s quest to fight at UFC 78 continues and we’ll keep everyone posted on whether or not we can expect him in the United States by November 17th!
