UFC 76-Knockout featured a fight between Wilson Gouveia and Jason Lambert within the preliminary fight card. Unfortunately, Gouveia recently suffered a nose fracture that will keep him out of this event. According to UFC.com, Lambert will not be fighting at all and instead, the fight will be rescheduled to a later date.
Wilson Gouveia was coming off a fantastic 3-fight winning streak while Jason Lambert had won 9 out of his last 10 fights, including a KO over ex-UFC veteran Renato “Babalu” Sobral. With these impressive winning streaks by both fighters, we hope to see both of these great athletes go at it as soon as Gouveia is able to recover.
