The former UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz spoke to TapouT radio earlier this week and mentioned the fact that he had some serious talks with the UFC. Although nothing is confirmed just yet, Tito says he talked with the Zuffa brothers and Dana White about his current MMA contract situation. He didn’t provide any details as far as some fight deal with another MMA organization nor does he mention a UFC return, but he does in fact state that his relationship with the UFC is much better than it was before. He even stated that he “made ammends” with UFC President Dana White, which can pretty much tell us that there is something going on between Tito and the UFC.
Snip from Tito Ortiz himself:
“I’m very thankful for Lorenzo and Frank Fertitta from the UFC and I’m glad that me and Dana (White) kind of got to brush each other off. We may not still like each other or whatever but we came to amends — which is awesome. I gotta thank Strikeforce for giving me an opportunity and I want to thank Affliction for giving me an opportunity.”
