Tim Sylvia Upset with Rumors that Say He is Leaving the UFC

There were rumors going around the internet earlier last week from different forums, indicating that Tim Sylvia was leaving the UFC and heading out to M-1 Global where current #1 heavyweight fighter Fedor Emelianenko resides.

This is what Tim Sylvia stated last week:

“I have one fight left on my contract…I want to stay with the UFC, but I am going to go were the money is. Right now Brock is making more money than me. That has to change. I have a better name than him, and I am a better fighter than him…In case you didn’t know, my manager runs (M-1 Global), so I have a pretty good in, so we will see what happens in the next few months"

Tim Sylvia pointed out that his manager worked with M-1Global, so that just left him different options.  However, forums blew up Sylvia’s quote making everyone think he was moving out of the UFC organization for sure.  Sylvia was extremely angry with the rumors of different forums, so he decided to respond to the MMA community.  He tried to clear up all of the gossip out there by stating the following:

"well let me just start off by saying people are f***ed up by saying that i want to leave the UFC. I don’t, its my home and i would love to be there for the rest of my career. Second, I didnt say I wanted or even was thinking about M-1 you guys (forum users) asked about it and I told you my manager runs it thats it, so please dont take $h&t out of context. Some of you people are going to get me in trouble with the UFC."

It seems pretty clear to me that Sylvia was pretty pissed off with forum users around the internet.  We still don’t know for sure what could be next for the former UFC heavyweight champ.  We’ll just have to wait and see what his next step may be.
