Aleksander Emelianenko participated on Saturday night’s Mixfight M-1 “Russia vs. Europe” inSt. Petersburg,Russia.
Aleksander was supposed to fight against Gilbert Yvel, but Yvel was forced to cancel due to an injury he suffered in a tournament held in Holland not too long ago. Yvel was replaced by Jesse Gibson, an international Karate champion.
Aleksander fought impressively as he submitted Gibson with a Kimura in the first round. Fighting in his hometown andwith his brother Fedor Emelianenko on the sidelines , its as if Aleksander was unstoppable.
