The Ultimate Fighter season 8 winner Efrain ‘Hecho En Mexico’ Escudero has been officially released by the UFC after acquiring two octagon losses.  His first defeat came against Evan Dunham at UFC Fight Night 20 and then recently against Charlie Oliveira at UFC Fight Night 22.  Not only did he lose two bouts, but he had also missed weight in two UFC events- UFC 103 and UFC Fight Night 22.  Apparently, he is already in talks with Strikeforce and Bellator.

The Mexican lightweight fighter confirmed the news via his Twitter account:

Hello true fan I was released by the Ufc today speaking to strikeforce and bellator. Taking a week off and make my way back!!!!!  For all of my Mexican fans, it’s not that I don’t want to fight for the UFC but they canceled my contract.
