UFC 76: Kazuhiro Nakamura Vs. Lyoto Machida

Kazuhiro Nakamura will be debuting at UFC 76-Knockout.  This will be the first time the Japanese Pride star will fight within an octagon and in the United States.  As we have seen in previous UFC events, we will probably hear the boos from those with the lack of knowledge of fighters from other organizations.  Let’s hope it doesn’t happen again as this really irritates us at MMAFIGHT.com.

Nakamura is very well known all over Japan and many other parts of the world, but it seems like fighters coming from other countries are not well recognized in the United States.  At Pride, he will always be remembered for his strong chin and great Judo skills.  He has lost several close fights that led to decisions including his match versus Mauricio Shogun, but was considered to be one of the strongest grapplers in Pride’s ring.  Nakamura has wins over Murilo Bustamante, Kevin Randleman, Igor Vovchanchyn and Yoshiro Nakao.

However, Nakamura is coming into the cage to fight one of the most toughest fighters of the world, Ryoto Machida.  Machida has no defeats (10-0), which tells us that he is not going to want Nakamura to add a loss to his record.  UFC fans, expect a great fight at UFC 76-Knockout.
