UFC President Dana White is stunned with the increased fan base as he announced that tickets for the UFC 100 event was completely sold out in record time. The event is scheduled to take place on July 11 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center at Las Vegas, Nevada. The main event will headline a heavyweight title match-up between Frank Mir and Brock Lesnar. As part of the co-main event, Georges St. Pierre will also be putting his title on the line against the hard-hitting Brazilian Thiago Alves.
Snip from Dana White:
“I started hearing about UFC 100 around UFC 90. I am blown away by how excited fans were for this event. So I made sure to stack this card with the greatest fights and greatest fighters in the world, and keep ticket prices consistent with our other big events. Once again, our fans responded with a record sellout. This is another great milestone for the UFC, and July 11 is going to be an amazing event.”
