Roger Huerta Signs With BellatorFC, Ready To Test Himself Against Top Lightweight Contenders

The former UFC lightweight fighter Roger ‘El Matador’ Huerta has officially signed with Bellator Fighting Championships and is eager to test himself against some of the best lightweight fighters the promotion has to offer.  Huerta tells us that he needs to win three fights in order to climb to the top.  Will ‘El Matador’ be able to keep up with the competition or will he fall to the more younger and and hungrier opponents?

From Roger Huerta:

“Bellator provided me with a sense of security. I control my own destiny in the tournament. The winner gets to face one of the best lightweight fighters in the world — that’s the goal. If I lose, then it’s my fault. I know I’ll have a target on my back and that these guys will be fighting with everything they’ve got when they meet me. I know it’s going to be hard because I have to win the three fights, but I’m giving myself more fights if I win. It’s up to me, and I like the sound of that.”
