Randy Couture Predicts 5 Rounds

Randy Couture has been training day and night in preparation for his first fight to defend the Heavyweight belt.  After losing his Light Heavyweight belt to Chuck Liddell, Couture had decided to retire from MMA.
As time went by, he felt that he had a better chance of moving up in weight and battling against the bigger guys.  Couture’s wrestling experience as well as the boxing skills he possessed through intense training, showed he was more of a complete fighter than Tim Sylvia and took his belt away after dominating all 5 rounds.

At 43 years old, Couture feels great and is ready to take on Gabriel Gonzaga.  Gonzaga also recently stunned the world as he knocked out the #2 Heavyweight fighter of the world, Mirko Cro Cop.
Both of these fighters have surprised everyone in the past few months and here they are ready to fight in the octagon as we all await the Heavyweight title bout once again.
Here is what Couture had to say for his upcoming battle at UFC 74-Respect:

I’ve just come off of 10 weeks of training camp and in camp I
worked with a guy who is bigger than Gabe [Gabriel Gonzaga], so he will
actually be a step down for me. But with any of the bigger athletes, I
have to be smarter and use my head…. I have one more week of hard
training, and then I start to taper for the fight. But right now I feel
good, and I am ready to go…. I think this fight has the potential to go
all five rounds. I am prepared to go all five rounds. But I don’t
expect either one of us to make mistakes, so it’s going to be a tough,
competitive fight.
