Dana White Expanding UFC Globally, Aiming For One Hundred Events Per Year

UFC President Dana White has been gradually expanding the mixed martial arts market around the world with his already established UFC brand.  Not too long ago, White opened up offices in Canada and now he’s slowly entering the Chinese market as well.  He then plans on entering the European market, starting with England and then toward Australia.

It started out with five events annually and now he wants to hopefully air around one hundred events per year.

From Dana White:

“Now I’m going to Europe, Australia and England, but soon we’ll be opening an office in China. Now we’re working on The Ultimate Fighter of Canada, and soon we’ll have The Ultimate Fighter China…We bought this company and we were doing 5 events per year. If you said, six years ago, we would be doing 34 events per year I’d say it’s impossible, that this would never happen, it’s crazy. But now I believe we can get to the point we have 100 events per year.”
