Chad Mendes respects Cub Swanson’s fighting style as he is hours away from colliding with him on the WEC 50 main card which airs tonight on the Versus Channel. Mendes believes he has the right gameplan to prevent Swanson from getting too confident and comfortable during their bout.

“He’s a tough fighter, he’s confident with his stand-up. To me it seems like the more you just kind of stand in front of him and let him get confident and comfortable, the better he is.He’s also got a great guillotine choke but we’ve put together a great gameplan for Cub that I think is going to be awesome for this fight. Both stand-up and ground is tough with Cub so this gameplan should work great.”
