Former WWE Superstar Brock Lesnar to join the UFC

Brock Lesnar has officially signed with the UFC and this will surely add even more competition to the already tough heavyweight division.

On Saturday night’s UFC 77-Hostile Territory, Joe Rogan talked with Lesnar in a brief interview.  Rogan mentions the fact that Lesnar had just inked a deal with the UFC, but no specific details were discussed as far as how long his contract was signed for.  Dana White later stated that “we’re looking at the SuperBowl (card), but we’re not for sure yet,” referring to Lesnar’s UFC debut.  He is expected to start in the octagon as early as February of 2008 and his opponent has yet to be revealed.

Lesnar’s mixed martial art debut began at K-1 Hero’s Dynamite where he
faced the Judo specialist, Min Soo Kim.  In what many thought would be a
difficult match-up for Lesnar as his first MMA fight, ended up being
a pretty easy win for the former WWE undisputed champion who won via
TKO-strikes in the first round.
We wish the 6’3″, 265-pound warrior the best of luck in the UFC when his time comes.
