The UFC 84:Ill Will betting odds have been released and many of you are probably getting ready to do a little betting this weekend. Even if you don’t normally bet, it’s sometimes good to see who is considered the favorite prior to the match.
With a 12-0 MMA record, Thiago Silva continues to be one of the best 205-pound fighters in the UFC. Silva is labeled as the favorite over UFC newcomer Antonio "Samuray" Mendes. Although Silva’s margin is fairly large over Mendes, we shouldn’t leave Mendes out of the picture… especially with Mendes having 11 consecutive wins coming into this fight.
It’s pretty hard to predict winners in mixed martial arts, but sometimes there are fighters who usually have a better edge. Most of the bouts on this fight card seem relatively close to call, but here’s how the Bodog betting line will look for tomorrow night’s UFC 84 event :
