In the following video, former UFC champion and current Strikeforce middleweight fighter Frank Shamrock trains with Jeff Blatnick. Blatnick is a Greco-Roman super heavyweight wrestler who won a gold medal in the 1984 Olympics held in Los Angeles, California.
Although the time and opponent of his next bout has not yet been revealed, Shamrock (23-9-2) looks to be fit and ready for his next Strikeforce fight. During his last fight against Cung Le back in March of 2008, the five-time defending undefeated UFC champion stated that he couldn’t finish the fight due to a broken right arm he suffered from one of Le’s devastating kicks.
Shamrock’s future plans include a possible fight against his adopted brother Ken Shamrock, Tito Ortiz and then a rematch against Cung Le.
