Tonight is the night where Frank Shamrock and Cung Le will bring it all they’ve got as they fight to conquer San Jose, California. In one of the most anticipated Strikeforce bouts of the year, Shamrock will be putting his middleweight belt on the line against the San Shou expert, Cung Le.
Shamrock insists that he will only be using his ground work if necessary, but he wants to show Le what it feels to stand up with an experienced mixed martial artist. Not too long ago, Le stated "I can’t wait to crack Frank upside his head with my shin." A great event for Strikeforce tonight, which is scheduled to take place in San Jose, California @ 9pm ET/6pm PT only on Showtime.
Also on the card is the current Strikeforce lightweight champion Gilbert "El Nino" Melendez who will also be defending his title tonight against the Strikeforce newcomer Gabe Lemley.
