UFC Releases Jake Rosholt After Losing To Kendall Grove At UFC 106

The 4-time All American and 3-time NCAA Division 1 wrestling champion from Oklahoma State University, Jake Rosholt, announced that he was released from his UFC contract immediately after his loss to Kendall Grove at UFC 106.  Rosholt ended his short UFC career with a record of 1-2, while his overall record stays at 6-2.  The news comes via his Twitter account:

“Not a good day. Just found out I got cut by the UFC…Thanks to all you guys for your support. It means a lot. I’ll be back. I’m young, I’ll bounce back and be a better fighter.”
