Wanderlei "axe murderer" Silva posts a blog entry on his website indicating that he was happy to have a team like he had to prepare him for the UFC 79-Nemesis bout against Chuck Liddell. Although he wasn’t content with the result, he proved to all of his fans that he is willing to fight anyone. His goal now is to put this loss behind him and train hard for his next contender whenever it may be.
Silva recently lost to former UFC light heavyweight champion Chuck Liddell in one of the most anticipated matches of the year. The slugfest was considered one of the best bouts of 2007 by many as it kept everyone off their seats throughout the entire match.
