Mirko Cro Cop is really not playing around anymore as he is training harder than ever in Zagreb, Croatia. Cro Cop has taken this next fight at UFC 75-Champion vs. Champion to another level and other fighters are helping him out.
You have UFC veteran, Ricco Rodriguez, giving Cro Cop some octagon tips and Pride’s Sergei Kharitonov providing a few boxing techniques. For the next two weeksUF, both of these skillful fighters will be assisting Mirko as much as they can in preparation for his next opponent, Cheick Kongo.
Thereafter, Remy Bonjasky and Gilbert Yvel will be taking over to offer some Muay Thai strategies for the first couple of weeks in August. This should assure Cro Cop with enough training for his next opponent.
It is now up to the Croatian to use these skills within the cage and earn that chance to obtain a Heavyweight title bout for the very first time in his UFC career.
Currently, Randy Couture is the Heavyweight Champion of the UFC and he will be defending his belt for the first time against Gabriel Gonzaga at UFC 74 Respect.
