Antonio Rogerio ‘Minotoro’ Nogueira understands the importance of his upcoming UFC 119 co-main event fight against Ryan ‘Darth’ Bader. He respects Bader and his MMA skills, but is confident that he has what it takes to take home the victory this Saturday night. Although he is comfortable with the fight going to the ground, his gameplan seems to be focused on keeping the fight on their feet where he thinks he has the advantage.
From Antonio Rogerio ‘Minotoro’ Nogueira:
“I’ve got less than one year in UFC and got many things to do there. There are many good people, many guys who has showed their value inside the Octagon, but I’m on my way for sure with short steps but I want to keep myself undefeated if God blesses me. Ryan Bader is a very strong man, very good at wrestling and really has good qualities. He’s very quick, intelligent, complete. And can apply takedowns and use a good ground and pound on the ground. I will guarantee that the fight keeps stand up, but if it goes to the mat it will develop well and I think that he will find a good leg defense with me.”
