Andrei “The Pitbull” Arlovski was suspended for 60 days following his 22-second TKO loss to Brett Rogers at the Strkeforce ‘Lawler vs. Shields’ event.  The suspension has forced Arlovski off the upcoming professional boxing debut that was scheduled for June 27.

Rafael Calvacante was originally slated to fight for the title against current Strikeforce light heavyweight champion Renato “Babalu” Sobral.  Sobral was later replaced by Mike Pyle who looked to be very well prepared as he defeated Calvacante via TKO in the second round.  Calvacante was later suspended for 60 days just as Arlovski.

Lucas Lopes and James Wade were the only two other fighters at the Strikeforce event that were also medically suspended.  Lopes acquired a victory over Scott Ventimiglia due to an illegal knee disqualification.  Wade attained a loss against Booker DeRousse via TKO in the first round.
