Kirill “Baby Fedor” Sidelnikov (5-3) participated in the Affliction ‘Day of Reckoning’ event on January 24th, 2009.  He fought and lost to Paul “Headhunter” Buentello via TKO (doctor stoppage) in the third round.  The 20-year old Russian planned to make a statement in the United States, but instead he was out-boxed and beaten throughout all three rounds.  He definitely showed a great chin as he survived some really heavy punches by Buentello, but the beating kept going until doctors forced an official stoppage.

After a few tests done on all of the fighters from the Affliction 2 event, Sidelnikov tested positive for the steroid Stanozolol.  According to the California State Athletic Commission,   the Russian fighter has been suspended for one year and was fined $2,500 USD.  The suspension will not allow him to fight until January 18, 2010.
