The former UFC fighters Joe “Diesel” Riggs (29-10) and Phil “New York Bad Ass” Baroni (13-10) will meet in the center of the Strikeforce cage on the night of June 6th for the very first time in their MMA careers. Both of these fighters and fans have been asking for this fight for a very long time and it’s finally going to happen.
Riggs is coming off a huge TKO victory over Luke Stewart back in November of 2008 at the Strikeforce ‘Destruction’ fight card. He’s looking forward to add on a second consecutive win on Saturday night over the heavy-handed Baroni.
