Brett “The Grim” Rogers is currently preparing for one of the most difficult bouts in his MMA career. The undefeated knockout artist holds 10 victories to his favor and now he’s up against the man ranked by many as the no. 1 pound-for-pound fighter in the world, Fedor “The Last Emperor” Emelianenko (30-1-0). Rogers seems to be pretty confident coming into this Strikeforce main event fight that is scheduled for November. “The Grim” says he possesses the same skills as Fedor, but he believes it’s all about “who’s more hungry” for the win.
From Brett Rogers:
“Life is kinda moving along pretty fast now, especially after this (Andrei) Arlovski fight. I feel this is well deserved, I mean, everything that happened, happened for a reason, and I was the one to complete it. I feel that I’m a different fighter for Fedor; he hasn’t felt the power that he’s about to get. He’s talented, but the same things he’s skilled in, I’m skilled in. It’s just we’re gonna see who’s more hungry.”
