The UFC announced the bonuses distributed to fighters during the UFC 95 ‘Sanchez vs. Stevenson’ event. A total of $40,000 USD was given to each of the following fighters:
- “Fight of the Night”: Diego ‘Nightmare’ Sanchez and Joe ‘Daddy’ Stevenson each acquired the bonus award. Sanchez defeated Stevenson via a unanimous decision.
- “Knockout of the Night”: was awarded to Paulo Thiago. Thiago defeated Josh Koscheck via KO at 3:29 of round 1
- “Submission of the Night”: was awarded to Demian Maia. Maia receives his third ‘submission of the night’ award out of his last four fights in the UFC. The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu expert defeated former WEC middleweight champion Chael Sonnen via a triangle choke at 2:37 of round 1.
