Bobby Lashley And Hector Lombard Sign With PFC, Set To Fight On February 6 Fight Card

The former WWE heavyweight wrestler Bobby Lashley (1-0-0) and former PrideFC fighter Hector Lombard (18-2-1) have recently inked a deal to fight on the California-based organization Palace Fighting Championships (PFC).

Lashley made his MMA debut on December 13th, 2008 against Joshua Franklin at the MFA: ‘There will be Blood’ event.  He acquired a victory over the newcomer by way of TKO in just 41 seconds of the first round.

Lashley will be tested once again on February 6, 2009.  His official opponent has not been released.  He plans to make a statement on this upcoming bout as he looks forward to fighting Brock Lesnar down the road

Hector Lombard will be making his U.S. debut on that same fight card (February 6), but as a middleweight contender.  The Cuban-born fighter was supposed to debut on EliteXC’s last event.  Due to the company’s bankruptcy, the entire event was canceled.

Lombard has won 10 of his last 11 MMA fights, acquiring just one draw to Kyle Noke at the CFC 1 event held in July of 2007.  His only two losses were against current DREAM middleweight champion Gegard Mousasi and current UFC fighter Akihiro "Magic Man" Gono.
