Anthony "Rumble" Johnson and Kevin Burns have agreed to a rematch after a huge controversial bout. At the UFC: Silva vs. Irvin event, referee Steve Mazzagatti, constantly warned Burns to keep his fingers away from Johnson’s eye throughout the fight. Nonetheless, Burns went for a punch to Johnson’s face in the third round. The punch resulted in a poke to Rumble’s eye, sending him straight to the octagon mat. Unfortunately for Johnson, Mazzagatti didn’t see the eye poke and gave the TKO victory to Burns.
The UFC is currently setting up this rematch bout, most likely aiming for December 13 at the TUF 8 (The Ultimate Fighter 8) finale– Team Mir vs. Team Nogueira.
