The UFC 84: Ill Will event has come to an end and it was an exciting fight card once again.  Tito Ortiz came into the octagon with much confidence, but was not able to put away Lyoto Machida tonight.  Machida remains undefeated, while Tito leaves the UFC with another loss to his MMA record.

In the lightweight division, BJ "The Prodigy" Penn continues to prove how good of a fighter he is when he defeated Sean Sherk in the final seconds of the third round.  Penn consistently landed some jabs to Sherk’s face, which kept on taking a toll on him.  Penn continued to box and it wasn’t until the third round where Penn quickly went for 2 punches to Sherk’s face and then capitalized when Penn landed a knee that knocked out Sherk cold.  Penn showed us how confident and powerful the Prodigy really is.

Wanderlei Silva showed how much he has improved after losing 3 consecutive MMA fights.  Silva desperately needed this win to get back on track with his fighting career.  During the fight, Jardine kept getting dazed over and over with Silva’s looping hoops that landed numerous times on Jardine.
