Ricardo "The Brazilian Tiger" Arona has not fought since losing to Rameau Theirry Sokoudjou back in April of 2007 at PrideFC 34: Kamikaze. Many of his fans have been questioning what the 30-year old Brazilian was up to. After being released from PrideFC, Arona has been working on setting up a gym of his own within the city of Sao Francisco.
Arona plans on getting back into either the ring or cage surely in 2009 immediately after his gym has been built. He has been offered a few proposals from Canada, Japan and the United States so his options seem pretty much open right now.
