After a 1-year layoff, Josh “The Punk” Thomson sneaks in a razor thin decision win over KJ Noons. Thomson tells the press that he was very disappointed with his performance, but he believes that it was due to 2 staph infections he suffered during his training camp leading up to this fight. He may be next for a lightweight title shot against current Strikeforce lightweight champ Gilbert Melendez, but whether he fights him or not, he promises a much better performance next time around.
