Vitor “The Phenom” Belfort has joined the UFC middleweight division and understands that he may fight Anderson “The Spider” Silva sometime down the road. Beflort considers him a friend and isn’t too thrilled about an opportunity of facing him in the cage. In a recent interview, “The Spider” tells us that he never thought of Belfort as one of his friend but respects him as a true MMA fighter. Although both Brazilian fighters may someday meet in the octagon, they’ll have to first concentrate on the very difficult path ahead of them. Belfort will be fighting Rich “Ace” Franklin next and Silva will be putting his UFC belt on the line against Dan “Hollywood” Henderson in a must-see rematch for all fight fans.

“The problem is that Anderson has too much people around him. I like him, I still like him after everything he said. I still cheer for him, but I think he has a lot of people around him. I’m an employee, he’s an employee too, we can’t pick our fights. Of course that’s a fight I wouldn’t like to do to, I like him a lot, no matter what he says.”
