Patrick Cote

UFC middleweight fighter Patrick ‘The Predator’ Cote plans to make his Octagon return after a knee injury he sustained during his title fight against Anderson ‘The Spider’ Silva back at UFC 90.  He tells media that he wants to fight a tough opponent even though he’s been sidelined for over a year now.  If it were up to Cote, he’d like to fight Rich ‘Ace’ Franklin at UFC 113 in Montreal, Canada.

Cote holds an overall MMA record of 13-5 and won five of his last six UFC bouts including victories over top contenders like Scott Smith, Jason Day, Kendall Grove, Drew McFedries and Ricardo Almeida.

From Patrick Cote:

“A warm up fight is the most dangerous thing to do. Fuck it give me a big fight right away !!! I’ll be back on top soon” !! Rich Franklin said than he want to take time off until May, hope he will come back at 185 and fight me here in Montreal !!! UFC 113 May 1st Cote vs. Franklin sounds good to me !!!”
