Dana White and the UFC have been trying to negotiate a deal with a major television network for the past few months. There have been "talks" with several networks including HBO, ESPN, NBC and now with FOX. So how does it look for the Ultimate Fighting Championship organization?
In a recent interview with Dana White, he was asked a few questions on the UFC organization and its success. White then discussed his thoughts on acquiring a television network contract, stating that the UFC will most likely have a deal in just "6 months."
There are also rumors of White meeting up with FOX executives n Los Angeles, California this past month. According to the gossip floating around the internet, both parties (UFC and FOX) seem to be getting very close to a deal.
With EliteXC already having CBS as their major network, one would think that the UFC will have no problem landing a deal with a company very soon. So far FOX and ESPN are probably the best candidates at the moment, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
