UFC President Dana White awarded several fighters with bonuses during the UFC Fight Night 17 post-fight press conference. As always, an extra check was given out to fighters with the best performances of the night. Each of the bonus winners received an additional $30,000 USD aside from their individual fighter payroll which should be released later this week.
Here are your UFN 17 bonus winners:
- "Knockout of the Night": awarded to Cain Velasquez who defeated Denis Stojnic in the second round.
- "Submission of the Night": awarded to Joe Lauzon who submitted Jeremy Stephens via an armbar in the second round.
- "Fight of the Night": awarded to both Josh Neer and Mac Danzig for their action-packed bout. Neer submitted Danzig via a triangle choke in the second round.
