The weigh-ins for the UFC 85: Bedlam event were held earlier today at the O2 Arena in London, England. The main event is scheduled to take place at the same venue and will feature Matt Hughes vs. Thiago "Pitbull" Alves as the main event.
UFC 85 will be televised on pay-per-view tomorrow at 3pm ET for those living in the United States and 8pm BST for those residing in the British area. Unfortunately, Thiago Alves was the only fighter who failed to make weight. Alves weighed in at 174 lbs, making him 4 lbs. over the welterweight requirements. Although Hughes agreed to let the fight go on, Alves will most likely be giving up a percentage of his purse when payday arrives.
