UFC 76: Forrest Griffin has a “Special Strategy” for Mauricio Shogun

Forrest Griffin feels that he is “a little Bigger and Stronger” than Mauricio Shogun as he trains for his upcoming fight at UFC 76-Knockout.  There is no stopping Griffin now as he trains at extreme Couture with other MMA superstars like the current Heavyweight champion Randy Couture, former Pride FC’s Light Heavyweight champ Wanderlei Silva and the Lightweight Jiu Jitsu artist Tyson Griffin.
Forrest has been studying Shogun’s game and admits that he is probably the #1 Light Heavyweight of the world, but that is definitely not going to stop him as he feels that he matches up with him pretty well.

Forrest goes on to say that his special strategy would be:

“I am going to go forward on him and clinch with him and push him back into the cage…he comes into the clinch usually with the momentum so I plan on kinda moving, circling, circling and then attacking him”

It’s going to take just a bit more than that as a “special strategy” for a guy like Shogun, but maybe he’s got a few more tricks under that sleeve.  All I know is that this fight is going to be crazy as Shogun will be debuting in the American cage, the UFC octagon!

Many MMA fans have been waiting to see Shogun for the longest and a match against Forrest will not be an easy task as we have seen both of these guys in action before.
