During the Ultimate Fighter 8 Finale press conference, Dana White awarded a few of the fighters with an extra $25,000 USD bonus to pocket due to their outstanding performances. Although all of the fighters provided a great deal of entertainment this weekend, it was Anthony "Rumble" Johnson, Krzysztof "The Polish Experiment" Soszynski, Junie "The Lunatic" Browning and Dave "Diamond" Kaplan who attained an extra special prize.
Note: $25,000 USD was given to the following fighters and this does not include the base salaries they will be receiving for their fights. All of the TUF 8 Finale fighter payouts and salaries will be posted later this week.
Bonuses:
- "Knockout of the Night"– awarded to Anthony "Rumble" Johnson for his perfectly-placed left leg kick knockout win over Kevin Burns.
- "Submission of the Night"– awarded to Krzysztof "The Polish Experiment" Soszynski for his kimura-submission win over Shane Primm.
- "Fight of the Night"-awarded to both Junie "The Lunatic" Browning and Dave "Diamond" Kaplan. Both fighters provided an action-packed fight, but it was Browning who ended up being victorious as he defeated Kaplan via an armbar submission in the second round.
