The UFC has decided to release UFC middleweight fighter Travis "The Serial Killer" Lutter. Lutter was recentely defeated by Rich Franklin at the UFC 83 event held in Montreal, Canada via a TKO-strikes in the second round.
He also posted the news at his official blog website and explains how the UFC contacted him regarding the release.

"Friday [afternoon] I was told by my manager that UFC matchmaker Joe
[Silva] had left my him a message on his phone that I had been released
from my UFC contract because of my two losses in a row"
