Kendall "Da Spyder" Grove will be taking on Evan Tanner at the Ultimate Fighter 7 finale event. The TUF 7 event is scheduled to take place in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 21st.
Grove is coming into the octagon hungry for a win now that he has lost 2 of his last UFC bouts. The Canadian Patrick Cote defeated him via vicious strikes during the first round of the UFC 74-Respect event (pics and results).
Grove tried to bounce back against Jorge Rivera, but Rivera was having none of that. Rivera give him a second dose of that knockout power, defeating Da Spyder by KO punches at UFC 80-Rapid Fire. Grove is training harder than ever, but it won’t be an easy fight against UFC veteran Evan Tanner.
Tanner made his octagon return after being away from the cage since April of 2006 when he beat Justin Levens at UFC 59-Reality check. Dana White gave him a very tough Yushin Okami who had no mercy for the former middleweight champion as Yushin defeated Tanner via a knee knockout at UFC 82-Pride of a champion.
