Strikeforce heavyweight fighter Brett Rogers was called in to throw the opening pitch at the St. Louis Cardinals game on Thursday night. Rogers is scheduled to face Strikeforce champ Alistair Overeem this Saturday night on Showtime.

“I was saving my right hand and arm for Saturday night, but I think I still was clocked at around 92 mph. This was a great thrill, nerve-racking, but very exciting.”
