Strikeforce Fighter King Mo Lawal Tests Positive For The Steroid Drostanolone, Fined and Suspended For 1 Year

According to Nevada State Athletic Commission Executive Director Keith Kizer, the former Strikeforce 205-pound champ Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal tested positive for the anabolic steroid Drostanolone following the ‘Rockhold vs. Jardine” event held earlier this month.  King Mo’s win over Lorenz Larkin will be overturned and ruled a ‘no contest’.  He will also be suspended for 1 year and fined unless he successfully appeals the positive test.

Josh Barnett, Hermes Franca and Dennis Hallman are some of the few MMA fighters that have also tested positive for Drostanolone in the past.
