Randy Couture’s ex-wife Kim “Sugar Free” Couture and Brandon Vera’s current wife Kerry Vera, are set to square off in the cage at the November 20th Strikeforce Challengers event. Couture and Vera (the female fighters) verbally agreed to fight earlier this week at a location not yet determined.
Kim Couture is coming off a recent TKO victory over Lina Kvokov at Strikeforce ‘Destruction’, bouncing back from her MMA debut loss to Kim Rose back in June of 2008. Meanwhile Kerry Vera is set to make back to back wins after defeating Leslie Smith in her MMA debut at Bellator FC in May of 2009.
Their husbands Randy Couture and Brandon Vera will be headlining the UFC 105 main event in Manchester, England. Their bout is scheduled for November 14th, less than a week before their spouses battle it out in the cage.
