Bob "The Beast" Sapp (overall MMA record is 8-2-1) is scheduled to fight on February 23rd, 2008 at the Tacoma Dome in the state of Washington. Although his opponent was not released, Sapp has begun his "Beast Style" training in an effort to be fully prepared by the assigned date of the "Strikeforce at the Dome" event.
Sapp is a former K-1 and PrideFC heavyweight contender who has been pretty much inactive since his last fight in December of 2005 when he lost to Musashi via decision after 3 rounds at the K-1 Premium Dynamite 2005. Prior to that loss, he won 4 of 5 bouts in both kickboxing and mixed martial arts events combined. The Beast has notable bouts against fighters like Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, Mirko Cro Cop and Kimo Leopoldo.
